Q. How much does it cost to join swim club? What other fees do I have to pay?

Q. What other costs are associated with swim club?
A. Be prepared to pay for travel to and lodging at swim meets for most weekends during the competitive season. You may also choose to purchase a team suit, parka, other team merchandise, or equipment (fins, paddles, etc...) but this is optional.
Q. Are family discounts available?
A. Yes. See the Family Discounts section of the Registration Package HERE.
Q. Is there financial assistance available?
A. Yes. If you require financial support we accept funding through Jumpstart, Sport Assist or Athletics for Kids. Funded family information is kept strictly confidential, and is only available to the Board of Directors.

Q. When are practices?

Q. Is it mandatory to attend all practices and swim meets?
A. No, but we encourage swimmers to attend as many practices and meets as possible in order to maximize swimming development and enjoy the full competitive swimming experience.
Q. How do I prepare for practice?
A. Swimmers should be punctual and prepare for practices. This means:
- Wear a swimsuit appropriate for competitive swimming. Ideally, for girls, a one-piece that crosses or meets in the back (rather than an open back, which can slip down while swimming) or speedo-style shorts or suit for boys.
- Hair should be in a swim cap or tied back to prevent hair from falling in the swimmer’s face (this includes boys hair and long bangs).
- Swimmers should bring goggles and a water bottle to all practices.
- Go to the bathroom before practice to avoid disrupting practice.
