Provincials Jobs signup

    Hello Royals Families,

Congratulations again for everyone who qualified for provincials. The royals are sending a record 30 swimmers to Prince George. I have been with the royals for 8 years and we have never sent anywhere close to this number to any provincials let alone one that is on the other side of the province. I have submitted the shirt and Cap Order for all those swimmers who qualified /are attending Provincials(using the Swimtopia shirt size option you all picked)

Please see email below from Shelly Johnson our Vancouver Island Regional Director. Much like Regionals we have "Provincial Jobs" that we have to sign up for. This is not on a signup genius but rather a living excel document. Shelly is asking that every family that is attending sign up for one provincial shift (we are medals and ribbons/medal escorters) and one timing shift. She hasent assigned it by club but by region. See email below. Note there will be a separate sign up for Timing.

Hi, I am still operating on our previous email list, so please pass on information to new board members as needed, and please make sure that families going to Provincials receive this sign up. We have the very fortunate assignment of medals and ribbons for Provincials. This means that we get to put the labels on the ribbons and medals and be the guides to escort medalists to the podium. Most of this will be inside and doing a role where people are rarely mad at you and in roles where it is easy to see races. We will also get timing shifts at some point to fill. I was going to break this down by club, but I decided to go by the philosophy that we are now one big club, the Gators, at Provincials. We only have 51 slots to fill and we have 140 swimmers attending. If each family does at least one medals shift and a timing shift, we should be golden. Please note that there are two tabs to the sign up. The first one is sticking labels; the second one is medal presenters. We need to fill both.
Is there someone that is going to Provincials that would take on the role of setting up a What's App group for us? It might be a good way to relay Gator related information? They will probably set one up for Provincials, but it would be good to have our own. It can't be me; I am too old. You are lucky you are not getting this message by telegraph. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hUNWQ4Mp9m5M8sXOOD6yTxDRIkyaK_vNhOALlEeXn4I/edit?gid=3803482#gid=3803482
